The house was built in 1928 by the owner's father, using numerous materials from the property and creating an ideal vacation home. The chimney for the large fireplace is of stone from the river. The floors are of local black walnut, as is the paneling in the living room. Decorative pine tree tops are uniquely suspended within the vaulted ceiling of the living room. The cabin sleeps eleven.
The other down stairs bedroom has a single bed with private
The 2 upstairs sleeping quarters each contains 4 single beds. There Is also a full bath upstairs. An adjacent sleeping cabin accommodates an additional two people.
There is also a sitting area with Satellite T.V. and VCR.
Unlimited firewood is available for cosy fireplace in living room ($ 15.00 fuel charge).
House pets are permitted for an additional $ 25.00 each per occasion. As
this is also a working farm, pets must be kept under their owner's control
at all times.
Pasture for horses is available at $ 15.00 per day. All lines and towels are included.
Three-day two- night non-holiday weekend - $ 399.00 double
occupancy, each additional person is $ 15.00 per day.
Three night weekend - $ 499.00 - Four-night stay $ 599.00, Five nights - $ 699.00, Six nights $ 775.00
October through May 23rd mid-week single night stays available: $275 double occupancy, plus $ 15.00/day heating surcharge.
Half of the double occupancy rate is required as deposit
to make secure reservation.
